In most cases you’ll need to ship us your door lock cylinder. We’ll cut your keys back to the correct specification and ship them back to you.

In most cases, yes. We can decode the lock and cut a replacement key. Contact us through the website and we’ll walk you through what we need.

Why can’t a regular locksmith help with my vintage car?

Older key profiles aren’t in the standard key blank database most locksmiths use. It takes specialized knowledge and hard-to-find blanks to cut keys for vintage vehicles — that’s exactly what we specialize in.

Should I get a spare key made while I still have the original?

Absolutely. Getting a spare made from an existing key is faster, easier, and less expensive than replacing a lost key. For classic cars especially, it’s worth doing sooner rather than later.
